    Driving & Parking

    Parking is available at the venue.

    Public Transport

    A number of bus stops are located a short walking distance from Champion Lakes Regatta Centre. Buses run regularly from Kelmscott train station and surrounding suburbs.

    You can plan your route via bus, train or ferry on the TransPerth website. 

    Upcoming events

    Champion Lakes Regatta Centre is excited to soon be hosting a busy calendar of sporting events, commencing with the PSA Head of the River Regatta on Saturday 18 March.

    The 2023 Paddle Australia Canoe Sprint Championships will be held from Tuesday 21 – Saturday 25 March, a national level event with athletes coming to Perth to compete in a variety of both individual and team events. Entry to this event is free and we encourage you to get down to the venue and support our local talent.

    Rowing Australia will be taking over Champion Lakes for the 2023 Australian Rowing Championships from Monday 27 March – Sunday 2 April. We will be welcoming athletes from across the country for this event, tickets can be purchased online if you wish to attend and cheer on the school and club participants, as well as current and upcoming Paralympians and Olympians!

    The precinct will be busy from Saturday 18 March until Tuesday 4 April as we prepare the venue and also host these wonderful events.

    Please note that while events are running, the public will not have access to recreational activity in the lake such as swimming and paddling.

    From Sunday 26 March to Sunday 2 April, the public path on the Tonkin Highway side of the lake will be closed to the public due to event requirements.
