Chief Operating Officer Peter Bauchop has rolled out the red carpet and welcomed back our first athlete, para-athlete Rhiannon Clarke, to commence her first training session at the WA Athletics Stadium, following a special exemption from the current COVID-19 lock-down measures.

Rhiannon won two bronze medals at the 2019 World Para Athletics Championships in Dubai for the Women's 100m and 200m sprinting event.

This is such wonderful news for our athletes, high performance sport and the venues, which include the WA Institute of Sport, HBF Stadium and WA Athletics Stadium.

We pride ourselves on championing the dreams of our athletes by promoting high performance sport and facilitating pathways to sporting success such as the Tokyo Olympic Games.
