VenuesWest Celebrates 10 Years of the Community Partners Program
VenuesWest has welcomed three new local charities to its Community Partners Program as it marks a milestone 10th year, using its unique position in WA’s sport and entertainment industry to deliver meaningful community benefits.
Ruah Community Services, Camp Quality and Prepare Produce Provide have entered 12-month partnerships, positioning VenuesWest to support social change, First Nations employment and people facing crises.
Over the past decade, VenuesWest, on behalf of the State Government, has delivered more than $280,000 in benefits to local charities. From access and inclusion events to mental health awareness initiatives, the program supports charities to achieve their core objectives while enabling VenuesWest to give back to the communities it serves.
Since its establishment in 2016, the Community Partners Program has provided charities with access to VenuesWest venues, events and experiences, helping to raise awareness, strengthen community engagement and support important causes. The program has grown in both reach and impact, partnering with 24 diverse organisations dedicated to improving the lives of Western Australians.
The highlight benefit for community partners is the provision of tickets to sport and entertainment events. Often, children and families are given the opportunity to attend a once in a lifetime experience and create memories that last forever. In 2025-26 alone, more than $82,000 worth of tickets were donated to What Ability Foundation, A Stitch in Time and Football Futures Foundation.
New partner, Ruah, has walked alongside people experiencing homelessness, family and domestic violence, and the challenges of chronic mental illness for over 65 years. They provide crisis accommodation, recovery services, mental health support and legal services.
Camp Quality brings positivity, fun and laughter back into the lives of kids who are impacted by cancer. They provide hospital support, education, camps, family retreats and counselling.
Prepare Produce Provide uses food, culture, and education as tools for social change, wellbeing, and employment. They work primarily with First Nations people, Elders, schools and community organisations, focussing on skill development, healing and leadership.
VenuesWest also farewelled previous partners What Ability Foundation, A Stitch in Time and Football Futures Foundation, thanking them for their collaboration over the past two years.
