We're pleased to announce that Optus Stadium will play host to the Rugby World Cup Champions when the Wallabies take on arch rivals the Springboks on Saturday 17 August, 2024.
It will be the first time the Springboks have played a test match in Perth since 2017 and the team’s Optus Stadium debut, while the Wallabies will be making their fourth visit following the Bledisloe Cups in 2019 and 2021 and Wallabies v England test in July 2022.
The Wallabies are rebuilding under new coach Joe Schmidt, a former World Rugby Coach of the Year, with the Rugby Championship a significant test for the new regime as it prepares for the long-awaited arrival of the British and Irish Lions in 2025.
We, of course, will also host the first match of the 2025 British and Irish Lions Tour, when the Western Force host The Lions on 28 June 2025.
Tickets for the Perth test match go on sale to Wallabies First members on Monday 8 April, with a community presale on Wednesday 10 April before general public tickets are released on Friday 12 April.
