RAC Arena’s charity raffle raises over $74,000 for WA community
RAC Arena’s Concert Superpass charity raffle, in support of The Salvation Army, gives one fortunate winner access to an array of events on the venue’s 2026 calendar.
Available over a 7-week period, participants could purchase $10 raffle tickets for a chance to win a double pass to events including Good Charlotte, Lorde, Machine Gun Kelly, and a sold out Hilltop Hoods.
Alongside tickets to an amazing line up of events, this year’s lucky winner, Rob Birtles, will also receive a $1000 food and beverage voucher to enjoy the arena’s award winning retail offering.
RAC Arena is delighted to announce that this year’s raffle raised $74,530, taking the annual initiative’s donation total to more than $750,000 since its inception in 2013.
The proceeds raised will be donated to the venue’s long-time community partner, The Salvation Army, contributing to their much-loved Christmas Appeal.
Warren Palmer from The Salvation Army says, “We celebrate for the winner of the 2025 Concert Superpass raffle and extend our best wishes for the amazing experiences ahead.”
Mr Palmer goes on to explain “To all who have supported this initiative, we say ‘Thank you’ for the incredible boost that your contribution will provide for families and individuals, easing pressure, bringing relief and comfort to all who will call upon the Salvos in coming months. Whilst all indications point towards a continued high level of need, we are once again reassured and most grateful for the abundance of kindness from many. The social impact of this initiative cannot be understated, and to our wonderful partners in Perth Rotary and RAC Arena, together with the many thousands who have purchased tickets, we value each and every person making this possible.”
RAC Arena’s General Manager Michael Scott adds, “The Salvation Army continues to play a crucial role in supporting people in need across the WA community. Christmas can be a particularly challenging time, but thanks to the generosity of Western Australians, families assisted by The Salvos will be able to find some relief.”
Mr Scott continues, “Congratulations to Rob on what promises to be an exciting year of music, and we look forward to welcoming him over the coming months.”
This year’s winner, Rob, was very happy to donate to a worthy cause, saying, “It is always a pleasure to support the wonderful work of the Salvation Army. With a huge range of entertainment at RAC Arena and I’m super excited for what’s ahead.”
