Optus Stadium to launch blockbuster Test series

Optus Stadium will host the opening Test of the five-Test series between Australia and India on 22-26 November.

Cricket Australia has announced their fixture for the summer of cricket, with Optus Stadium also hosting an ODI between Australia and Pakistan on 10 November.

This is one of the most highly anticipated summers of cricket in recent memory with attendances at these matches expected to match the interest. 

India currently heads the ICC’s World Test Championship table with Australia close behind in second place. This series will be critical in determining who progresses to the next World Test Championship Final in 2025.

India played Australia in the very first Test match played at Optus Stadium back in 2018, with Virat Kohli scoring the first ever century at the stadium.
