VenuesWest is ready to welcome the more than 4,000 athletes participating in the XXII World Masters Athletics Championships.
Arena 2 at HBF Stadium has been turned into the VenuesWest Technical Information Centre and athletes will begin registering there from Sunday, 23 October. It is expected that Monday 24 October will be one of the busiest registration days.
The impact of the event on parking at HBF Stadium is expected to be minimal given that competitors and spectators are being advised to park at Perry Lakes. A shuttle bus service will also be operating around the venue dropping off competitors. Additional buses will be parked in Car Park 1.
VenuesWest is one of the major supporters of World Masters and we encourage you to take the opportunity to check out some of the world class track and field action which will be happening at the WA Athletics Stadium (Sunday 30 October and Thursday 3 November are rest days). Entry is free and the VenuesWest Athletes’ Village will have catering, entertainment, a licensed bar and free WiFi.
This is a fantastic opportunity for local sports fans to watch people from across the world compete and be inspired by their efforts and achievements. The full event program is available here .
