All bookings consisting of 200 people or more are required to have a qualified first aid officer on site for the duration of their booking. Client can provide this themselves or VenuesWest can provide. Please note there is a 3 hour shift minimum

Sales of food and beverage

VenuesWest reserves all rights to catering at the Venue and may assign those rights to its nominated caterer. VenuesWest may consider allowing the Licensee to provide catering itself at the Venue during the Event on such conditions as it deems fit. In the absence of express notice to the contrary, such conditions will include that no commercial caterer may operate at the Venue except VenuesWest’s specified caterer and no alcohol may be sold or supplied at the Venue.

Marquees / stalls

Please note it is up to each client to provide & set up their own shade structures, however, VenuesWest needs to know in advance where these will be positioned on event days so reticulation lines can be advised. No pegs are permitted. Water weights and sandbags must be used to hold down structures.

For example Swim 250 / Cycle 10km / Run 2.5km, or Rowing 2000m, Canoeing 200m, 500m & 1000m
VenuesWest retains the right to restrict the use of electrical appliances deemed unsafe by VenuesWest staff. It is the responsibility of the Event Organiser to ensure all electrical appliances comply with AS/NZS 3760:2003 prior to use.
Is this a ticketed event?

The client/organisation must not sell or supply, or permit any other person to sell or supply, any tickets to the Event or Activity without the prior written approval of VenuesWest.
OSH Assessment
In accordance with the OSH Act 1984 WA VenuesWest is committed to providing a safe and healthy environment for employees, contractors, hirers and visitors to its venues. It is the goal of VenuesWest to have workplaces that are free from work-related injuries and diseases. All Contractors and Licensees / Venue Hirers who are engaged to undertake work at or hire a VenuesWest venue must read through the OSH information on the VenuesWest website and acknowledge that the information has been read and understood. Please submit with this booking form with your completed OSH assessment form and supporting documentation (insurance certificates, risk management plan, etc.) Please also note below if any external contractors will be performing any activities onsite, as they will be required to complete VenuesWest’s Contractor OSH documentation prior to being permitted onsite.
