VenuesWest Chairman Graham Partridge OAM and Basketball WA Chairman Keith Dunlap are pleased to announce Basketball WA and VenuesWest will manage the WA Basketball Centre together commencing 1 October 2014.
“We believe the new co-management agreement structure for the WA Basketball Centre will be in the best interest for the sport, the players, customers and the state of the art basketball facility,” said Mr Partridge.
“By taking advantage of our respective strengths we will establish a long term co-operative relationship that meets the needs of both parties ensuring the long term sustainability of basketball in WA.”
“This agreement will also establish a sound financial base for the facility, allowing it to continue its success in delivering great customer experiences for many years to come.
Basketball WA Chairman Keith Dunlap said “this is the culmination of many years of hard work by a number of people to ensure a sustainable operating model for Basketball WA from the WA Basketball Centre. We are looking forward to assuming the day to day operations of the Centre and working in partnership with VenuesWest to deliver outstanding customer service to both the basketball family and the community as a whole.”
