PLEASE VISIT OUR COVID UPDATES PAGE FOR THE LATEST NEWS

Commencing Monday 31 January 2022, visitors to some of our venues will be required to show proof of COVID-19 vaccine for at least two doses, as per COVID-19 safe measures announced by the State Government on 13 January 2022. These measures help us to deliver COVID-safe facilities and programs to our much-loved customers.

This is in addition to the mandatory mask requirements that are already in place in all public indoor settings, including many of our venues.

To ensure a seamless transition, please thoroughly read the following reminder and ensure that you have your proof of vaccination ready to present at our checkpoints as detailed below:

WHO WILL REQUIRE PROOF OF VACCINATION (OR EXEMPTION)?

  • Gym users (member and casuals)
  • Group fitness participants

The above proof of vaccination for gym users and group fitness class participants applies only to HBF Arena and HBF Stadium.

Proof of vaccination will not be required for individuals under 16 years of age, individual pool users, and those participating in, or spectating in community based sports competitions or programs at this stage, regardless of the venue being attended.

WHAT ARE ACCEPTABLE FORMS OF PROOF OF VACCINATION (OR EXEMPTION)?

The acceptable forms of proof of vaccination are the same as those required at other venues and events across Western Australia.

The WA government has developed a suite of materials to assist in this regard, which are available here, and in the key pages below:

WHAT ELSE DO I NEED TO DO?

  • Check in using the SAFE WA app or the Service WA App, or manually;
  • Wear a mask within our venues at all times (apart from during vigorous exercise);
  • Stay at home if you’re feeling unwell, and instead consider getting tested.
  • Check our COVID webpage (under the 'News' drop down) for any venue updates

Note that our staff are authorised to request to see an exemption for patrons who cannot show proof of vaccination (at least double dose) and/or wear a mask. If you cannot provide an exemption or otherwise comply, then unfortunately you will not be permitted to use the gym or attend a class.

Remember, we are doing the very best that we can under these extraordinary circumstances and we respectfully ask that you please be kind and patient as we navigate these new requirements. Patrons who are abusive or aggressive towards our staff will be asked to leave the venue immediately.

As per our Conditions of Entry your full cooperation with directions is required. It is more important than ever, that you maintain good hand hygiene, scan into the venue using the SAFE WA app, and please do not attend our venues and instead get tested if you are feeling unwell.

Our highest priority has always been, and will always be, the safety of our staff and all visitors to our venues.

If you would like further information on COVID-19 please call the COVID-19 Information Helpline on 13 COVID (13 26843).

We thank you in advance for your cooperation and support.
