Phase one of the Master Planning project is now complete and VenuesWest would like to share the outcomes and seek comments from our valued members and the local community before we progress further.

The Master Plan Framework provides conceptual forward thinking for the future of our venues, to support the long-term vision of VenuesWest to be ‘Australia’s leading provider of sport and entertainment venues and precincts’.

Phase one included the development of a Master Planning Framework to clearly define, the approach, priorities and timelines, along with High Level Concept Plans for the venues identified in phase one (HBF Arena & Mt Claremont precinct venues – HBF Stadium, Bendat Basketball Centre, WA Athletics Stadium, WAIS High Performance Service Centre, WA Rugby Centre).

The project aimed to identify the highest and best use of land, venues, and precincts, while also considering emerging high performance sports and their requirements, as well as commercial opportunities.

Phase one focuses on long term outcomes and does not include feasibility or cost benefit analysis for recommendations put forward.

Please follow this link to read the Master Planning Framework and view the Concept Plans for both the HBF Arena and Mt Claremont precinct venues.

Please also note that subsequent phases of the project will deliver concept plans for our other venues/assets in the portfolio.

We welcome feedback, questions and comments via the feedback form at the bottom of this page by close of business Thursday 31 March.
