It is with deep regret that as from Friday 27 March we will close the doors to all our venues.

This is in line with the Prime Minister’s announcement of a range of further measures to address the rapidly evolving COVID-19 crisis.

One of these measures was the announcement to close all sporting and entertainment venues.

For clarity, the following venues will now be closed to the public as of Friday 27 March

  • HBF Arena
  • HBF Stadium
  • SpeedDome
  • Bendat Basketball Centre
  • Gold Netball Centre
  • RAC Arena
  • WA Rugby Centre
  • WAIS High Performance Service Centre
  • WA Athletics Stadium
  • Champion Lakes Regatta Centre
  • Perth Motorplex
  • HBP Park
  • Optus Stadium

The closures of many of our venues is deeply upsetting for everyone at VenuesWest.

Please note: The Champion Lakes Regatta facilities (and the island) are closed, the public areas of the venue are still open and can be accessed.

We will miss welcoming visitors into our venues every day.

There is nothing more important than the safety of our members, our team and all visitors to our venues.

Therefore, it is imperative that we all do what we can to help stop COVID-19.

We will stay in touch with members via email and through our social media channels while our venues remain closed. The HBF Arena and HBF Stadium websites and venue social media channels will be refreshed with fitness tips, home workout ideas and venue updates.
