Les Mills Programmes

We've got all the latest moves straight from the Les Mills studio. These classes mix great music and passionate instructors that inspire exhilarating aerobic workouts. The programs featured on the Arena Joondalup timetable are:

Yoga and Pilates

Yoga and Pilates are beneficial for strengthening, stretching, and flexibility while engaging the body and mind through unique exercises. Arena Joondalup runs both Yoga and Pilates as part of our regular group fitness schedule.

Aqua Classes

Aqua classes are great for low impact work outs that suit all levels of fitness. At VenuesWest Arena Joondalup we offer three different styles of Aqua class. These are:

H20

This chest deep work out utilises noodles and some basic aqua equipment with the emphasis on choreographed movement to music. Suitable for pregnancy and rehab the session focuses on increasing and maintaining fitness and strength.

Hydro Deep

A high intensity deep water session performed with aqua belts. This serious fitness challenge demands higher activation of core muscles, postural alignment and muscular endurance.

Aqua Energy

This ultimate endurance class is based on muscular strength and interval training. Challenge yourself through different stations utilizing a range of aquatic equipment. This aqua workout will leave you fitter, stronger and more energised.

 

Class Guidelines

By using these facilities, you agree to abide by the terms and conditions set by VenuesWest.

  • Please bring a sweat towel and drink bottle to all classes and gym workouts.
  • Children are NOT permitted in group fitness exercise areas. Participants with children need to allow enough time to place children in crèche/ holiday program prior to commencement of class.
  • In order to participate in Group Fitness Classes and courses participants must be 16 years and older. Between the ages of 12-15 years, adult supervision is required to participate in all classes and courses (excludes Fit Club).
  • VenuesWest management retains the right and authority to alter/or cancel any classes due to major events, or to change the group fitness timetable if required.
  • Passes will not be issued more than 30 minutes prior to the class commencement.
  • Participants must obtain a class pass from reception prior to the class commencement. Passes must be given to instructor on arrival to class.
  • Participants need to be prompt on arrival to class to participate in the warm up. Entry to class will not be permitted 5 minutes after class commencement.
  • Appropriate footwear (runners) and training attire should be worn at all times.
  • Class equipment needs to be set up and packed up only when instructed to do so by the instructor.
  • Gloves are required for Boxing class (hand wraps recommended).
